My foot is cracking?

I OWN A PRS AND LOVE MY GUITAR, TODAY I TOOK IT INTO A GUITAR STORE . THE TECH [A FELLOW WORKER] PUT THE BODY OF THE GUITAR ON HIS FOOT . THEN PROCEEDED TO BEND THE NECK. WELL HECK I JUST ABOUT SHIT .I HEARD THIS CRACKING. IS THIS NORMAL?

    Give the tech some advice about customer relations. He should never let anybody see him doing that. What he may have been doing was trying to free "adhesions" (to borrow a medical term) holding the truss rod to the side of its cavity. If that's all it was, you may be all cool. If the cracking was accompanied by any visible differences in the guitar, like cracks or chips, he owes you a new guitar. I've heard other techs talking about something similar in order to get the truss rod adjustment to settle in. They also commented what fun it was to watch the customer's face.

first of all a friendly advice for you to try not to use all capital letters when writing a question, it's against the e-tiquette. now to the point. In guitars, the ability of the neck to resist bending is important (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar#Neck) and perhaps your friend was checking that BUT it shouldn't crack, your friend may have damage it. Thanks I've contacted PRS for help but the guitar seems ok. Ive found out that since 1992 they have used double action truss rods. the first thing I said to him was [ never do that in front of the guitar owner] . He did apoligise for scaring the heck out of me. I thought I was going to soil my pants, Thanks so mutch. Sorry about the spelling.I guess I won't have to kill him. Its not in my nature
