What causes me to shake when I'm angry?

I keep getting dizzy spells & headaches. I'm also suffering from unexplainable nervousness and this causes me to shake. When I eat somethig, I usually get high in mood then drop. Someone suggested getting tested by a doctor for hyperglycemia, good idea?

  • Answer:

There are many things that could provide those symptoms. Although it does not at all sound like hyperglycemia, but in fact its opposite Hypoglycemia. Easy confusion but two very different illnesses. However My advice would be that with any health concern always see your doctor, never become complacent, after all you know your body best. And its always best to have a professional opinion.

Yeah, that does sound like something related to blood sugar. My brother had hypoglycemia as a child and similar things would happen to him. Although, many things can cause dizziness, it's a good idea to see your doctor as soon as possible.

Being tested for Diabetes might be a good idea, while you're at it though you might want to see what happens when you cut down on sugar and caffeine-just a thought. You can induce 'sugar crashes' without necessarily having a disorder. Also consider keeping a journal of your dizzy spells and headaches, noting the time they occur, what you were doing at the time and what, if anything you had recently eaten. Good luck!
