Do you think any guy would be bold enough to pop the question onstage at his Senior Prom?

When I was a junior in high school a guy proposed to his girlfriend on stage at a band concert. I have also seen someone propose on a college football field right after a game.

I hope not. There is still a lot of lessons to be learned in real life and college prior to making a decision like that. My dad always told me that I'd learn more the first year I was out of school (meaning graduating high school) than I did the entire 12 years I spent in school. I told him he was full of sh*t. He wasn't.

I've yet to meet a guy with the guts to do that... but if he did, that'd be the sweetest and most memorable proposal EVER!! :) [even if it does seem young and foolish.. :P]

I would not use the word "Bold" but insted I would use the word "Foolish". He should wait until he's got a good paying job, gotten futher schooling, and able to support a family.

I am sure that there are some that would. I know that declaring your love and desire for marriage before large groups of people is the way to go, and that's okay. But I had rather hear the question in a much more intimate setting, ie: candelight dinner, moonlight walk along the beach, etc. (And, no it has never happened like that for me)

There are plenty of bold and stupid young men. Better to hold out for someone mature, sensible and responsible. Perhaps not as teen pash romantic, but lovelier in the longer term.
