If a child died at a young age, would it continue growing up in heaven + chose what age it wanted to stay at? Or would it automatically jump to that age?

Answer:
I, personally, believe that we will all be the same age. The Bible says, in ICorinthians 15:52 - ... in the twinkling of an eye ... we shall be changed. I shortened the verse some, but it's where I think we will be changed to make us all similar beings (in appearance).

doesn't matter mate, in heaven its our souls that are there, not our bodies. our bodies are just vehicles.

I don't have the answer yet for I have not reach heaven yet. If I had to guess I would say that after we are given our new body's. I believe that none of our body's will ever grow older than the age Jesus was at the cross. This is just my guess. And even if I am right about the age of the new body, I still believe that our spirits or souls will never stop growing to a better understanding of His Great Love for us.......M.C.S.

I think that they stay children forever. i think that their wisdom grows however. i also think that when grownups die and go to heaven they can choose to be a child again.

I believe the soul is eternal, and that we do come back in different bodies, and for children its the same. There is a reason we are all here, and a reason we are taken. She would be just that same age as when she passed till her soul moves on

doesn't this kind of thing make you question the whole idea about why people should go to heaven when they die? why do people even think they belong there... the angels are there.... why didn't God just make more angels to live in heaven? what is the reason for the earth?

Carluh - what's with the heaven questions??? Read the book, "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. No, I think that children who die stay children forever, but I think they become capable of greater understanding than their mere years.
