What are the gloves that get warmer when wet?

When I go rowing I often get blisters/breaks in the skin that are very painful for the next few days, even when wearing training gloves. Any ideas how to prevent this?

    Ive been a rower for 4 years and tried most of the common ideas. Gloves don't work they just make the problem worse.Tea bags didn't work and letting them just harden works but can affect the rowing. The best thing i found is to pop the blisters with a small needle and clean them with some hydrogen peroxide then to soak your hands in salt water which hardens the areas and callouses your hands.

gloves arnt the way to go if you have sweaty hands because of the rubbing between then and your skin. with rowing blisters is one of the painful things that comes along with it. popping then right away with a needle and cleaning works great. also NEWSKIN is my addiction. it stings but it give you immediate calases (excuse me spelling) with in 2 days.

I disagree with wearing gloves and finger tape. the best I've come across is surgical spirit. Makes sure skin is not open! NO CUTS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Buy some surgical spirit, some cotton wool pads, and just a bit of surgical spirit rubbed onto the palms of your hands twice a day, you'll notice a difference within 3 days. The other alternative is to just let the blisters heal until you have callouses, which would mean your skin wud b incredibly tough, and they'd be formed in the exact spots blisters are likely to try and form.
