Similarities: You might have friends on both and you are able to find both through your address book(s). You can send messages on both. Differences: Facebook will keep your information if you decide to deactivate your account. MySpace will let you delete your account permanently if you decide you don't like it anymore. Facebook will not let you choose your own layout. MySpace lets you have custom layouts.
