What Easter customs do you practice in your home?

    All the original stuff - colorful decorated eggs, spring-themed decor. I put together a little basket for the kids, and we have a "special" meal with seasonal foods (which I try to do at least once every season anyway). We usually do it on whatever day works for us, vs. going with the day that churches identify as their Easter day, but we'll probably start doing the basket on that day (once they are old enough to notice) so that it will be the same day their friends do it. When I was a kid, we used to empty out the eggs from the shell, clean them, then decorate them - so they wouldn't rot. I want to start doing that with my kids when they're older, and decorating them with more than just dye or paint.
