Wiring route for amp power cable?

I have a 2000 chevy blazer and i am trying to hook an amp power cable to the battery i want to route the cable either under the frame of the truck or go through the dash board. which is the best route to do this and what needs to be done to do it that way

    i would run it thought the fire wall on pass side drill a hole or find a plug to put it though if you drill make sure nothings in the way and i used a garden hose for a chafter so it will not break
