When you block someone on msn, what happens? Do they know they've been blocked?

Answer:
They see you as offline, and whatever name you had when you blocked them stays displayed on their screen as long as you're on their list. They won't know when you change your name or status. After a while they should figure out you blocked them, but there's no notification.

They don't get a notification or anything, the person just appears offline...But there are some websites, or things people can get for msn that shows who has blocked them. And they might catch on, if you haven't been online in the last year or something.

As other people have said, they don't get a notification. However, they may catch on eventually.
