I found a work at home website that pays you to assemble craft items. you must make a deposit for the materials, but you get the deposit and a check for your work. does this sound legit?

  I advise checking the legitimacy of this operation by looking for posting in google groups. Do a normal google search for the name of the company. When you get the answers, ignore them, but click "more" just above the search box at the top. Click "groups" in the dropdown menu which appears. If you get too many irrelevant responses, add the words "problem" or "payment" or "complaint" to your search. If you find nothing, it doesn't guarantee everything is fine, but it is a good sign. If you get a list of complaints, you have your answer. I do this to check out any significant product I might buy, or company I might use. I have avoided making many bad mistakes.
