My myspace account uses the same password as my hacked yahoo account connected to my page. Why will my address work on myspace and not yahoo.

Your email hasn't been banned from yahoo. It has only been hacker by someone, and there's a great possibility it may be in use and available to the hacker. Therefore, since your myspace was reigstered with that email, your myspace will recognize it and let you log in. But there's a chance your myspace could get hacked also.
