What do you think of the election of Nicholas Sarkozy as President of France?

    G'day Singwell, Thank you for your question. He will face some difficult challenges given that France has had high unemployment for decades. The problems with crime in some areas with high concentrations of youth with an Islamic background is another issue which will need careful handling as seen by the 2005 riots. Personally, I wish him well and think that he was the best candidate for the job. Hopefully, his foreign policy will be better than Jacques Chirac's. Regards
