How do I make a mix tape? I have a tape recorder, now what?

    Mix-tapes today are really mix CD's where a DJ takes a bunch of songs and either simply compiles them on the CD as is, or actually mixes them by adding scratching and other added bonuses to the tracks. The days when people were releasing tapes are gone now that many have iPods and CD players, I advise you to get a CD recorder, turntables, a mixer and some new records if you are really trying to pursue this. Get a mixtape from your local record store as a guide..preferably DJ Green Lantern, Whoo Kid or someone of their status.
