How do you cancel a hotmail account - that new flashy layout is more annoying than helpful

    If you are trying to terminate the automatically renewed subscription, you must call this number: 866-672-4551. The online subscription cancellation does not work and MS apparently does not provide this number on its website. It does appear on the credit card statement, however, once it's too late to cancel the subscription and get a refund!

You can't. You get a gmail account (www.gmail.com) and then never go back to that crappy place again.

You can't cancel it, you can notify all your contacts of your new address, but other than that you would just stop logging on to it. There is no canceling it.
