I have my internet connection shared on my computer and i used the same ip address to setup my ps2, but i keep get the dns server error message(-612). what gives?

Answer:
change the last number in the ip addres string to be a eperate number.. such as the pc: 192.168.0.1 and the ps2: 192.168.0.2 that should help as long as those addresses are not taken by another pc or game system in the house.

Ok there is a lot going on in this question you may not understand. I'll try to clear up. Two computers can not have the same IP address on a network. Are you using a router to share the internet? Explain more how you are hooking it up.
