Is it normal to feel cramping during ovulation?

If I had sex a few days before ovulation.. and, hypothetically, I got pregnant... would I still feel the cramping and get the discharge that I would normally get when I ovulate?

  • Answer:

You wouldn't get pregnant before you ovulated. The egg has to be released from the ovary (ovulation) for it to be fertilized. Some of the sperm may still be around and capable of fertilizing the egg that showed up a few days after they were "deposited," so pregnancy can still occur even if ovulation occurs a few days after sex.
