Which is worse for the environment: the pesticides & chemicals used to grow cotton or the plastisol inks used to silk screen tee shirts?
-
-
Answer:
I would say the pesticides, because they are more likely to be exposed to the environment. The plastisol may be more toxic (i don't know) but it is less likely to end up in our lakes and streams because it is not sprayed over large open areas of crops.
