Does anyone know how to speed the download up from a torrent? I have tried almost everything (changing upload/download speed, waiting 20 mins, asking others to seed ect) and I know I can go faster. is there any way to 'cheat' the server? thanks.

The problem I bumped into fast download is possible only for popular stuff. The more guys trying to download the file, the more seeders, peers and download speed is higher.

The server does not control the download speed, the amount of peers does. You need a torrent with a lot of seeders/leechers to be able to download fast. Make sure the port you use is not being blocked by a firewall. Set your upload speed to 80% of the theoretical maximum. Don't have too many connections. Also, some ISP's throttle Bittorrent bandwidth, and some just throttle all bandwidth between certain times.
