Were you able to recieve the local channels before? I had a cable service that didnt automatically recieve local channels, is this new cable service to you? If so you may contact your cable provider and see if you have to pay extra for the local channels too. Also, if you have digital cable, the local channels may be in the hundreds. I am aware that some companies put local channels in the hundreds (ie if fox was channel 11 if you had basic cable, on digital cable, for me it was on channel 111)
