How can I install Firefox cleanly. I deleted it using Control Panel, and cleared the registry of all references to it, but I still get the old settings when I re-install, including reference to a non existent proxy server, possibly a relic of Tor.

Answer:
Even with uninstalling there is still your personal data stored in c:program files/mozilla.. They do this so you can re-instal later and still have your old personal settings.. Just delete the Mozilla folder in the above location and you will then be able to perform a proper clean instal.
