My child has seen a small black figure in his room and i am convinced it may be supernatural.but you know the way dreams have meanings,does anyone know what this type of sign or perhaps dream means .I say dream as he is only 5

I don't know if you believe in GOD or Jesus, but in all seriousness, tell him that when he sees it to ask Jesus to tell it to leave. Even if he sees it in his dream, tell it to leave. My son wrote a story about a battle with GOD and an evil spirit. He simply said that GOD won.

it could be (judging by your pic) that you have influenced his imagination in some way, either by movies he has watched or by things you might have said. just a suggestion.

Is he frightened by these figures? Could just be nightmares which can be terrifying for kids and would reoccur until the situation is fixed. The idea of poltergeist apparations would be frightening - they're rarely reported and usually a poltergeist would start by moving objects and electrical interferences (I have it sometimes - not sure if it's a ghost or poltergeist) The thing with the poltergeist idea is that it's said to be caused by the "agent". Usually the agents are teenaged girls but could be younger and male. They wouldn't know they were causing the apparations. These are usually caused by severe stress and is resolved once that stress goes away. Ghosts aren't normally frightening, although I imagine the first time would be. I've never seen anything to know but my sister did and she was not frightened at all. They say that children are more able to see supernatural activity as opposed to adults who are taught not to believe. I've read that most children are able to see aura when they are very young. Pretty neat stuff. Very good chance these are just nightmares and that he is sleeping. You could offer to sleep in his room with him one night and see if he is truly awake or whether the frightening dream is what wakes him up.

Try contacting the sprit vea ask him if it is a him to show you a sign that he is there and that you are there to help it. Tell him you are not going to hurt him or chase him away as long as he doesn't get violent. try and stay calm no matter what he does if you are christian let him know and hope he behaves.

My daughter has reported seeing a large male shadow figure in her room. We awoke to her screaming one night, and tore down the hall to see what was going on. She said a shadow in a cloak was dancing around her space heater, and she felt like he was going to kill her. She was around 9 years old at the time. My husband has told me that he has awoke at night, looked to my side of the bed, and saw what he called "a lil shadow midget" peering over the side of the bed at me. He has seen this on more than one occasion. I have also woke up with unexplained scratches on my arms, or stomach. I bite my nails, so the thought of me scratching myself in the middle of the night is out of the question. I have got out of bed before, and had the sensation of someone watching me. I took some steps and heard what sounded like four or five scuttling sounding footsteps, very rapid..then it stopped. The drapes made a whoosh and blew out, then stopped. I thought maybe the window was open,but it wasn't. Things are definately happening, but im not sure what it is either. But you are not alone, and I am glad that you believe your child.
