Do u know any proxies or websites that will Unblock websites? My high school issued out laptops last week and we are required to take them home...alot of the proxies dont work because they are blocked. can u think of any please? And thanks

Search for "proxymate" on Google and you should find a lot of sites to choose from.

It's a constant quest: every time new proxies go up and students find out about them, the filter companies learn about them too and shut them down by updating the filter. So you'll never get a stable solution, but if you keep changing proxies it is possible to get some unfettered access sometimes. However, have you thought about maybe just buying your own laptop? That really is school property, and they have good reasons for wanting to protect it from the many nasty things on the Internet.

sorry but I think all internet should be blocked from school computers ... you don't need it as all programs they you DO need can be loaded and the computer used without the internet ...like english and spelling

i don't know of any but perhaps searching for them on google might help. I've used some anonymous proxies for firefox but don't remember them anymore but i found them on google.

I use to run several private proxy servers from me and a couple friends home networks to get through certain filters. It's not hard at all. http://www.peacefire.org/ Read up at peacefire, it's a great place to start.
