Is it possible to teach yourself a language from home?

This is EMBARRSING!!I am 47yr.old married homemaker, and we've just purchased our 1st.computer!My question is, where is a good "on-line" site that can teach me to understand how to use Windows Vista-Home Basic?(in language I can actually understand!)

She might be a little wordy at times, but she is very good. If you stick around here, you might see her. It seems to me that she might be more helpful than any site.

Also - when you are in a Windows application, go to the top of you page and click on the Help tab. Take a look in there – you can type various questions in and get some of your answers right there. Do not feel embarrassed, many Baby boomers missed out on the front end of the It explosion – they did not have computers in high schools in the 1970’s.
