Anyone know how to cook brains and eggs? My grandfather used to make them for us when I was very young. I don't even remember the taste, but my mom says that he and I were the only ones that would eat them...so I'd like to try them.

You can buy brains at Krogers, walmart's and other food store's Once you obtain the brains take and remove any excess membrane and pieces of bone, then place in skillet and add 1 cup of water bring to boil till brains turn a gray color, drain water and place brains back into skillet and add 1/2 stick of butter and saute ,then beat 6 eggs and add to brains and mix together and scramble till done , salt and pepper to taste.

Clean and wash the brains.Remove the thin membrane. Boil them with 3 cups of water salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Boil them on a medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes or till tender. Cut each brain into 4 pieces. Dip in seasoned beaten eggs. Lightly melt butter in a non-stick pan and saute the pieces on a medium flame. Sprinkle pepper powder and serve hot.
