Can an israeli citizen be muslim?

I'm muslim and malaysia citizen and my boyfriend is japanese buddhist and UK citizen. Where can we get marry and he doesn't need to convert to muslim?

  • Answer:

I don't wanna sound like a sayer of nay here, and I will likely get docked points...but honestly...if he isn't a muslim and isn't going to convert, and you are a muslim, and practice...you can't get married anyway. Country has nothing to do with it since God>nation and God said no to the whole thing. If you still feel that you should get married and that you know better than God does about it, I guess you would be saying that you don't believe in what the Qu'ran says and that would make you a non-muslim..then it wouldn't matter where you got married. Sorry to sound like a jerk, but that's just how I feel about it

Religion is unimportant in life except for the fanatics. You can marry in Australia or Europe or the Americas with no problem. Ignore the fanatics. They only make life painful and difficult instead of happy and enjoyable.

If you are adults, you can probably get married anywhere you want in a civil ceremony. Marriage laws are not all based on religion. The most important part is that you both should live in the same place. As long as he is in one country, and you are in a different country, you cannot get married.

if you are in the USA, just get married at the courthouse. Religion is immaterial in a civil ceremony.
