Anyone Know The Name of This Irish Song?

Does anyone know a particular Irish band that played nightclubs and pubs (for sure in Chicago) in the 90s? They used the name of a great Irish song as the name for their band. . ."Parting Glass." I would love to buy a copy of their CD, if I could find it.

Recording information: ProBeat Studio, Dundalk, Ireland. Irish harp player/vocalist Emer Kenny blends deft electronica and adult-alternative flourishes with ancient Irish melodies for utterly beguiling results on this, her third album. The title song, an old Irish drinking ballad, is lushly rendered with mandolin, Enya-esque harmonies, double bass, and a breathy vocal that finds new nooks and crannies of emotion in the time-honored, mournful lyrics. Kenny breathes similar gusts of haunting melancholy through the traditional frameworks of "Sally Garden" and the aching "Rambling Boys of Pleasure," but this is no mere traditional ballad collection. The merry "Emer's Jig" is suitable for a Celtic hoe-down and the spine-tingling electric bass of "She Moves Through the Fair" prompts post-rave chills. The down-tempo pop of "Cast a Spell" and "Rescue Me" are Kenny-penned originals, recalling the dreamy sound of early Cranberries rooted in the lush sonic earth of Clannad. Throughout, Kenny stays right on the cusp of many different genres--New Age, pop, jazz, electronica, Celtic, folk--without ever falling into a particular pigeonhole. This makes PARTING GLASS constantly refreshing and unpredictable as well as meditative and achingly lovely. Even that old chestnut "Scarborough Fair" sounds new, as if there's really a fair going on down the road, one that straddles both worlds--lushly contemporary and rustically enchanting at the same time. Yes I know this group well, They used to play at Kitty Oshea's Irish pub in the Hilton Hotel Chicago during the RSNA Radiology Conference held in Chicago each year after Thanksgiving. I used to have a copy of this CD however someone stole my briefcase in LA on the way to this conference consequently I lost it. If you find a source could you let me know I would like to replace it.

1) This is actually a tribute by Martin Marron to various bands, among others "The Parting Glas": "Martin Marron We're Windy City Irish This is a compilation of songs writen by some of the lads playing around the Irish pubs in Chicago during the 70's, 80's and 90s. A great era of Irish music in the Windy City. "By the time I returned from Ireland in 1982, I had learned the grand total of zero Irish songs, though I might have been able for the chorus of the Black Velvet Band...maybe. A great deal of my time was spent going ‘round to all the pubs in the Chicago area to places like the Irish Village, Shannon’s Landing, the Atlantic, Fox’s, etc. It was a great time for Irish music in those days with groups like The Irish Minstrels, The Parting Glass, The Irish Brigade, The Celtic Aires to name a few. This is where I learned my trade. Chicago. So when it came time for me to record again I decided to pay tribute to the bands that influenced me". http://cdbaby.com/cd/marron Sound excerpts: http://payplay.fm/marron 2) Here some information about the song "The Parting Glas": "PARTING GLASS [1], THE (Deoc An Doruis). AKA and see "Good Night All Round," "Good Night and Joy Be With Ye A'." Irish, Slow Air (4/4 time) or March (2/4 time). A Minor (Roche): A Mixolydian (O'Neill {1850}): G Minor (O'Neill {1915}). Standard tuning. AB. A beautiful air and song, sometimes played in modern times for farewells, funerals or other occasions of loss. Although it has nothing to do with the title of this tune, which originally referred to the end of a convivial gathering, there is another, more macabre, meaning the title phrase carries. “The Parting Glass” or “Parting Cup” referred to an execution custom in 18th century England. On the way to the gallows at London’s Tyburn, the condemned would be allowed to stop at taverns along the way for what might be a number of “parting cups”—the opportunity was ample, for it was a two-hour trip from the prison in the gallows cart. The unfortunate would often share a drink with the hangman, again by custom. Combined with the fact that there was much drinking at Newgate Prison (also customary for the times), many condemned prisoners met their makers completely and thoroughly inebriated!
