How can I use my TV as a monitor to my laptop? I am using S-Video cable, but don't know how to change the setting on laptop.

We need to know what laptop you are using. 99% of laptops have a smallrectangular icon. Usually its one of the F* keys. Pressing the 'Fn' button and that key toggles between laptop screen/Output/Both. For compaq its usually F8 and for Sony/Vaio F7 they are the ones i know for deffinate.
