Even though real estate is down, can I still make money off it?

    lol, thats what my family does...we build homes. Market sucks and we have laid off 70% of the company....anywho. if you buy low now then you can sell high in a few years....

Of course money can be made...but you need to be on the top of your game. Think dot-com or even daytrading in the late 90's...you'd have to be a looser to NOT make money doing either...but once the bubble broke, only the best of the best survived. Since you had to ask if *you* could do it or not, the magic 8 ball says "Outlook not so good".
