Why my emails are being printed really small?

High school students were caught reading printed emails from a parent to the teacher.The kids had been allowed to goof off in her office The teacher was reprimanded what discipline do you think would be proper for the kids?

    At least a suspension. Depending on the circumstances and their conduct inside the office possibly expulsion and maybe charges. Again, this really depends on the overall situation and the people involved. My experience while student-teaching is that discipline is very lax in the public school system and at times kids get away with way too much.

I think, personally, that IF that reading of email was such that they had to browse to do it, they should be suspended for at least a week! I would give more to the actual student who initiated the idea or who physically carried it out. They also need a good tongue-lashing from the principal.

Detention at the most. The students acted irresponsibly, yes, but they would have never had the opportunity to do so had it not been for the teacher's negligence. If I was handling their discipline, I'd probably make them write an essay about evading the privacy of others while in detention.
