My skin is really dry but almost all the body lotions i have bought give me allergies, do you know any home remedies for dry skin?

1/2 cocoa butter 2 tablespoons of beeswax (grated) 2 teaspoons of distilled water 3 tablespoon of sesame oil 2 tablespoon of coconut oil 1 tablespoon of olive oil ..melt the beeswax throw in the other stuff mix it let it cool off or you will burn off some skin..lol then put it on.. :)

I use extra virgin olive oil. I also heard sesame oil is good. Cosmetics have additives, but cooking oil doesn't.

i hope you are not allergic to Johnson and Johnson's Extensive care because it always works for me.

Almond or coconut oil is good for dry skin...hope this helps.

Try taking organic Flaxseed oil. Salmolinic is good too.(spelling?) You probably need more Vitamin E.

You could perhaps try olive oil or coconut oil or almond oil. Ask at a health shop -- they should have something to help. I am also allergic to the chemicals and perfume in all lotions, makeup, shampoos, etc. In SA, we get something called aqueous cream and aqueous lotion, which works well for me. Also 80% less expensive than all the usual stuff.

My question to you is do you have eczema? Whether you do or don't you should try taking vitamins that good for maintaining healthy skin like Flax seed oil or Vitamin E all of which you can get at your local Wal-mart in the Pharmacy area!
