When I go out with my dad (i'm 25) I sometimes fear people wonder if I'm his arm candy girlfriend. It really creeps me out. Do you ever get mistaken for someones partner when they are related to you?

I often get to go to town and look like Duck Daddy Sugar!... I have two good looking girls, and we occasionally go to dinner or a movie. When I take them, I give them the same door treatments that I do my wife (They should know what to expect of a gentleman, and one of those things is door opening). Whenever I open a car door, I get the "dirty old man" look. I just wink. (of course, I guess that puts me on the opposite end as you...)

I was mistaken for my brother's girlfriend at a carnival. We were both creeped out.

I get that all the time when me and my daughter and my grandaughter go out they think my grand baby is my daughter and my daughter is my girl friend .

I get my niece as being my daughter a lot. And....eeeeeew......my sister is my wife.

Not me, personally. But - when I go out with my boyfriend and his sister, everyone thinks that she's his girlfriend. She often has to say "Oh no - that's my brother!" When that same sister goes out in public with her dad, everyone thinks he's got himself a young girlfriend.

also i've had people ask about my brothers being my b/f and it just really grosses us out...."eeeewww no, he's my brother...."

I hang out with my sister-in-law all the time. She is my age and my brother is almost 10 years older than us. They have kids who are 9 and 10 years old who are often with me and my sister in law. People always think they are my wife and kids, which is funny because I am gay. What is really funny is when someone finds out they are not my kids and they say, "I thought you looked way too young to have kids that age!" My sister in law gets mad because she is my age and they are her kids. Also, one time my sister in law and my brother went to a gay club with me one night to have some drinks and shoot pool. Someone walked up and asked if that was my new boyfriend. Gross!

Yep, my cousin has two boys, and I love carrying them around on my shoulders and play with them, and she always is walking with us, that and he looks just like I did as a kid. So, people are always like you two have such a cute kid and you make a perfect couple... :-{
