For the California natives: What do you think Los Angeles would look like in the next 20 years? State your opinions and predictions.

Like Mexico city.

It is starting to look a lot like New York, building so tall you can't see the sky unless you are on the roof of the building.

Its going to look alot like OLD Mexico. OOPs my bad it already looks like that..

I think that a fair proportion of it will be under sea with the rising water levels from global warming.It sits at a very low level and has been flooded many times with just rainfall alone.

More people. Less crime. Better light rail system. Otherwise, it will look the same.

It will probably be more like high rises and closed in living areas and loads of shops like now. Just more of them in a delapidated condition and still a place where it would not be a good idea to go out alone.

At some point in the future maybe longer then 20 years.I think we as a country will be ran under a diffirent set of rules.So LA's populatoin won't have so much if any control.That's for any town or city.

Well, I was thinking that more buildings would be constructed by then in emply land areas, with more multiculturalism and interracial relationships, with more immigration. I can hope that gang violence will be low by then and increase the peace.
