My Xbox 360 is not getting video. I can hear sound. I tried the input on the TV and it works when i send cable to it so i know its not my TV. I've tried HD & TV settings to no avail. any help?

I had the same problem and there is nothing wrong with the Xbox what you need to do is wipe the inside of the cord with alcohol because what happens is you insert and take out the cord to the back of the Xbox alot and it gets dirty inside there and also clean out the little holes inside as well. Wipe the back of the Xbox where you insert the cord into use a Q tip an dip it in the alcohol rub the end of the cord outside and inside and do the same where you insert the Xbox cord into and I gurantee you the video will start working.

If you can, start off using the RCA component (Red Yellow White) inputs on your TV, with the A/V switched to 'Standard'. Also, make sure your cable is connected firmly to your Xbox and your TV inputs. Select the correct Input on the TV, if you see nothing try the next Input on the TV. If you still have no luck, try it with the A/V cabled switched to 'HDTV' and go through all the inputs on the TV once again. Its possible you may have set the resolution higher than what your TV can display, therefore knocking out the video, but you would still be able to hear the audio.
