Are commercials in the US getting more and more suggestive (eg: Dawn Foam tagline: (female voice) "Aww, Honey... You had me at first pump!") or is my mind just in the gutter? ;-)

And it's totally the reason you see younger and younger kids wearing more and more suggestive things. You don't see boys growing up too quicly, you see 10 year old girls with make up, bras, low cut tops and suggestive words on their underwear. Have you ever seen one of those shops that sells underwear for under twelve year olds with things like dollar signs on them? It's a disgrace to western society, if you ask me. And it's certainly not helping our next generation focus on the right things in life.

No, your mind is not in the gutter, the western world actually does like to steriotype and degrade women to that extent. Disgusting, embarassing and animal as it is. Notice that men are rarely made into sexual objects. Men, by the media's standards, are the ones with the brains. Woan just look good next to them.
