As of today: Real Madrid is in first place and Barcelona in second. I honestly don't think Real is MUCH better than Barca, although the playing level of Barcelona as of late leaves a lot to be desired. That said, they are contenders in three competitions. Real Madrid, being eliminated in other competitions, has only the Liga championship to focus on with only one game a week to play from now onwards.
