What are some great conversation starters when u just dont know what else to talk about?

None of the above answers will work save perhaps the first and third ones. You talk about whatever's around your surrounding environment if you seriously can't think of anything else (of course this depends on where you're at). Take note of something unusual or interesting and bring it up. If that doesn't work, then ask questions: Where do you work? What are you doing for the upcoming holiday? Where do you like to hang out?....just avoid politics and religion for obvious reasons.

You could say " Don't you hate it when you have to think about things to talk about ? I mean it can be so awkward huh ? "

The weather, local sports teams, current events, movies, books, clothes, anything you have in common.

Think up (or look up before you go), some trivia about movies, music, whatever interests the other person. Save it in the conversation until it lags. ;-)

I have three: "So, what religion are you? You not one of those crazy Presbyterians are you?" "So, do you still beat your children?" "Wow, your wife/husband is hot. Are you swingers?"

Here are some: "How's your day going?" "So,what was the last movie you saw?" "Any plans for the weekend?" "Guess what color of underwear I'm wearing or if I'm wearing any?" LOL. That should start a great conversation.
