My 2002 55-inch HD has similar problem. Mitsubishi customer service no help. Have audio on static channels. Had to switch from digital tv to rabbit ears while waiting for provider to upgrade my cable equipment - they discontinued our service plan. The HD picture is much better than cable was but no audio. This happened intermitently when we first got the TV while waiting for cable service and we never figured out what brought it back on. Did not have the problem while using digital. Now missing audio for World Series, football, etc. HELP!!!!
