Why won't iTunes work on my PC?

I downloaded music off da internet. Then I saved it on my pc, and itunes wouldnt take it cuz it was an itunes file instead of a cd. So I put it on a cd, and tried to put it on itunes then, but it still wouldn't work. What do I have to do?

    drag it out of the download window onto the desktop then open itunes then drag it in to there and thats it... mp3's go straight on wma's convert automaticlly

have you tried right clicking then play with itunes, or even setting itunes as your default player.

Check the extension of the file. This is either .mp3, .m4a or .wma or some other extension. I don't understand why iTunes won't play an iTunes file. Open the file with some other media player. Try quicktime. You did, however make a mistake downloading the song off the internet. What did you use, a torrent? The FBI will trace your ass and watch you. They will mark down every mistake you make, then when you turn 18 they will confront you with it and you will land in jail bigtime.
