Almost everytime I work on my abs I experience back pain and my friends tell me that it's because my abs are getting stronger. This does not make sense to me. What might I be able to do to fix this problem?

Answer:
you could have a back injury that you do not know about, or you could be doing the exercises in an incorrect manner. try altering the exercises and seeing if there is any change. if not, you may want to see a doc and/or personal trainer. also, it is critical that you also work out your lower back. if your abs are really strong and your lower back is really weak, then this could be the source of the pain.
