Out TV stand is glass and I have a baby about to crawl any day now. What can I do to baby proof this area? I will post a pic in an answer so you have a better idea. I was looking to block the whole thing off. Thanks.

I wouln't worry about the glass as it is probably 'tempered' and pretty tough. The whole unit appears to be 'top heavy' and should be secured to the wall somewhere near the top of the rack. At the hardware store or home inprovement center in the plumbing section you will find this: http://www.grainger.com/itemdetail_largepic.html?item=XL-1RUR2.JPG It's metal pipe strapping. A small piece screwed from the wall to the back of the stand on each side will prevent baby from pulling the whole thing over.

That's a hot set up, first of all! Secondly, I used to baby-sit for a couple with twin toddlers. They fenced their entertainment center area in... which was DEFINITELY a good idea!

Is there a way to put door in front of the shelving. That way she can't get to what's inside. Other than that I would everything the other posts say.

I'd put some material on the corners of the glass but I'd also put an edge on the glass also. The baby will also soon be standing so the head on the front edge of the glass will be a concern later. Strapping the whole unit to the walll sounds like a good idea. It will be easy to repair the wall when this is no longer needed. Easier then repairing your baby anyway. Good Luck.
