Why does my ankle bone hurt?

K..2months ago I hurt the bone this is below my ankle (on the side of my foot) I got it x-rayed and the dr. told me that i was just bruised. However it still hurts, lol and the pain is real. If I squeeze that foot on that bone it hurts. is it fractured?

    2 months is quiet a while a bruise should feel better by now. And it could be a crack in the bone or a chip and they are sometimes small enough that they aren't seen on an xray. You might want to have it checked out again and see if the Dr will order an MRI that shows more than an xray anyway

Fractures are pretty obvious on Xrays. and not likely to be missed by the radiologist. Bone bruises take quite some time to absorb, and may be a problem for some time.

I have told people before & it does work. It may sound odd but ------- apply vinegar where the bruising is . Vinegar is known to bring the bruising out & it makes it heal faster.
