How will the RCA XL 100 TV be affected by the change to digital? Does it have ATSC??? Will it get free digital, is a converter box needed? Thank you

Answer:
From what I see, RCA XL 100's were made in the 1980's. If that's about how older your TV is (actually just about any TV made before 2001 or so), you are going to need a converter box to watch channels off of an antenna. If you are using cable or a mini-dish, you won't need to change anything soon. Your cable company may require you to use a new cable box at some point in the future, though.
