My daughter has her permit but not her license. I had my license suspended for an unpaid fine. Is it possible for her to drive me around? or will that get her into trouble because my license is suspended?

Answer:
The permit only allows your daughter to drive with a licensed driver (usually over age 25). Since you do not have a licensed, your daughter cannot drive with you.

In California it is against the law to drive with a suspended license. I would suggest a driving instructor if you want to have your daughter learn how to drive. If you just want a ride somewhere you need a licensed driver. Take the bus or a taxi to avoid getting into trouble. Check the laws in your area for more information. Good Luck, Be safe!
