I worked for a company and owned stock options. The company went bankrupt and I was told that my money was put in to a 401k. I have been unable to find any information as to whom the money was put with or where the account is. How can I find out?

Answer:
CONTACT AN ATTORNEY NOW!.it sounds like you are getting the run around from your ex employer.your attorney will be able to verify if and when your money was put into a 401k plan. if not there are grounds for a lawsuit.
