Any ideas for a Pet Slogan?

I want a pet that reacts to my presence, and actually becomes attached to me as a friend, a pet that enjoys it when i play with it. But i want a small pet, like one that i can keep in a cage. And i am petrified of dogs. Any ideas on a pet for me?

  • Answer:

A rat, ferret, chinchilla, or a sugar glider to name a few. All will recognize you and become attached to you. The rat and ferret can be taught tricks if you take the time. The ferret can be litter trained. The rat and the ferret will be the smartest out of them, and will actively come to you. All can be kept in a cage as long as you give them the proper amount of play time. I'm currently shopping for a ferret cage at the moment. Good luck finding out a pet.

If you want a pet that you keep in a cage get a hamster.

Anonmoyous1111 (sic) is correct. Of all rodents, pet rats take the cake. They will come to recognize and love you, and furthermore they can be litter trained for their droppings, and trained to perform tricks. If you like late nights or very early mornings, rats can be particularly interesting as they are nocturnal by nature. This is not to say that all they do all day is sleep, particularly if you keep them entertained... They are extremely cheap animals to keep. Ours cost $12 Cdn. per rat, and between food and bedding we spend perhaps $30-$35 a month maximum. The biggest expense is usually a cage: scour your local classified ads for a secondhand hamster, rabbit or birdcage and sanitize it thoroughly before use. Cages with big gaps between bars can be rat-proofed with some window screen and tie-up wire A fun thing to do with pet rats is sharing meals. Since rats can and do eat almost anything (with a few exceptions, notably citrus for male rats), it is fun and healthy to share with them a few bits of whatever you happen to be munching on, as long as it isn't too fattening. The only real annoyance with our two pet rats is urine. They seem to leave a little trail behind wherever they go, so we have limited the area in which they are permitted to roam, and we must thoroughly scrub and sanitize it regularly to keep it sanitary. Carpeting and upholstery are definite no-no's!

A rabbit, a hamster or a guinea pig can be very attached to a human, and will play and cuddle with you. Also some birds are very interactive with their humans.

Rats make great pets and they do besome attached to you if you get only one of them at a young age 5-8 weeks old. And if you're wondering, pet rats don't bite or carry germs or disease, they do make wonderful pets and they can be kept in a cage alone or with another rat. I have 3 rats and all of them love people and never had any problems, they can even be litter trained.

Guinea pigs are really cool pets. They love people and love to be handled. Easy to take care of.
