How can i ignore people that is not worth my time?

Do you have people in your family that try to show off and one-up everyone all the time? Do you play into that game if you do or do you ignore it? And how do you cope if they pass judgment on you for not being as competitive?

  Every family has at least one of those. I've never played that game. As to how I cope, the judgment of shallow people means nothing to me and if they are rude enough to pass it, I'm rude enough to tell them that.
