Why don't Christians just let God sort it out? Seems like they won't stop until everyone believes what they believe. What kind of world is that, anyways? Why Can't they just leave it up to God to handle?

Answer:
Because God gave us that job: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 (New American Standard Bible)

Because religion is dangerous, it's the yoke people place around their neck and the blinkers they place over their eyes. And so desperate are they to believe they have found 'evidence' of God they can't accept that religion is an invention of man, you see.. they can't see God outside of their religion.. they don't truly believe. They walk a narrow path with tunnel vision.

Christians are taught to spread the Word. But I agree that way too many go about it in the wrong way and they try to do God's job and change people.

What a concept. Would this approach also apply to the USA and dealing with Iraq and Afghanistan?

God took on human form, in the person of Jesus Christ, to personally reach out to humanity. Christ died, was buried, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is no longer physically present to spread the message of salvation through faith in Himself. The message of salvation through Christ was carried forth by His followers then-present unto believers today. We know that every person will stand before Christ when He returns to judge us all individually. Every person found in unbelief will be guilty of his own sin and suffer the eternal penalty. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or bad. Knowing, then, the fear of the Lord, we persuade people. We are completely open before God, and I hope we are completely open to your consciences as well" (2 Corinthians 5:10-11). God Himself has charged the believer in Christ to share the knowledge of Him with others. More importantly Christ's love in us for humanity compels us to reach out to other people. "For if we are out of our mind, it is for God; if we have a sound mind, it is for you. For Christ's love compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: if One died for all, then all died. And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised" (2 Corinthians 5:13-15, Holman CS Bible). We compel you to partake of the salvation and promise of God for eternal life. We fear God and the horrendous torment of spending an eternity separated from His grace, favor, and presence. We, Christians, share, person-to-person this hope out of love and the recognition of God's own benevolence toward us.
