Why is it so difficult to become an NGO?

Why did Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society become a UN NGO (Non Government Organization)Member? http://www,gardian.co.uk/uk/2001/oct/08/religion.world

http://www.jwfacts.com/index_files/un.htm Your link didn't work. Is this the article that you were talking about? So you decided it's not credible?I don't know, I haven't read it, and it doesn't appear on any big news websites that I would be more inclined to trust.

Well came up with two places Watchtower keeps their money. Henford paper where they had $1.8 Million in 2000. Seems they lost a lawsuit on that that also involved Georgia Pacific. They currently keep money in Bear Stearns Investments. Unknown amount. Something very secretive about their investments and staff. I have found several places where Elders were running Ponzi schemes for which they were convicted. One fleeced a 100 year old woman out of about $ Million. He was convicted and sent to jail I believe 25 years.

Watchtower owns 96.9% of a company called Telelogic http://prwallstreet.com/article.cfm?articleIS=18540 Telelogic is a subsidiary of IBM. They make software for Lockheed Martin, Motorola, General Motors, Boeing, and other defense contractors. While JW's don't fight the wars they provide software for missile and artillery to kill people. I had previously dismissed their involvement in wars. But there was a hint of truth that resulted in this. Not as nice as they like to advertise. This deal just went through in March 2008 Actually, I had been expecting investments in the food industry. That was what I had been looking for. Should mention, the first article gave no reference as to what the business provided and was a valid news link in Sweden. Handing it over to my congressman to track down WT Staff. I can't do it myself without violating privacy lawas and illegal access. And I am unwilling to do that.

Elsewhere I mentioned picking up on Watchtower purchasing a blood separating machine. I also read where they were 50% investors in the same. The articles were obviously generated by another religious faction. No evidence was given. So that too can be written off as a fabrication. I would request any information on where they might invest money though. I thought I had picked up on a cream separator and farm in India. Likewise that led no where either. It was in a search heading, but neither WTS or JW's were mentioned in the article.

JW's may be interested in this as well I did a search on another topic. and up came WATCHTOWER'S INVESTMENTS IN WAR. Look that one up. They claim Watchtower was investing millions in various military firms including Alliant. And not a single bit of documentation to back up a single thing. I can understand some Witnesses refusing to believe valid things against them when they have this sort of absolute unmitigated lies as well. The sex abuse and cover up is real by all the supportive evidence I found. But sure is a lot of fabricated things. Actually, for the most part the lie evident in the heading. Gee! I thought the Nigerian scammers telling me of the dead relative in a nut oil accident leaving me $15 Million. And all they needed was my NAME, card number and PIN was stupid. This tops it. Xan't imagine a reason though. No profit in it.

My guess this time no JW will be questioning my credibility on this one though. I would not post anthing not to what I find valid. And if I find myself wrong I will retract things though leaving the origonal post in place. I don't need to cover up. Whether or not I tell the truth or provide reliable sources will stand on its own merit.

I'm really confused here. This original link came from Jehovah's Witnesses On-Line Community. I present this to others. I intend to follow up. Apparently this is a fraudulent website posing as Witnesses, a counterfeit. Matter of fact I think Witnesses might want to report this misrepresentation. Saying things against Watch Tower is one thing Setting up a site pretending to be them is totally wrong. We don't need falsifications. Just actual facts on wrong doing by WTS. Bet it's another church though.

Hope I'm not being overly redundant. Put they had a letter from the Watch Tower Society telling the brothers about joining the UN NGO. Dated in 2001. And circulated through COMPUSERVE. Except some time in the mid 1990's Compuserve ceased to exist because it was then a part of AOL. They can't even begin to legitimize anything. This one even ticks me off.

There are literally 12 pages or more repeating the same dribble at various sites. Notably I found the name of a AB user that writes opposition to JW's. No, not me. But read his posts. I had regarded him better than to fall for garbage like this. Anyone that has ever known me has invariably found me very fair and accurate. They should all have better things than continue this fabrication.
