How can I connect a printer wirelessly to my laptop without a router? Which printer would be the best?

Can i hook up my computer which is a desktop, and another which is a laptop, both are hooked to a limpsy router, to a printer, which is connect buy a usb to the desktop? or what do i need? thank you.

    The easiest way is to have the printer hooked up to the Desktop computer and do a sharing on it. What you can do is go to Start > Printers & Faxes (or if it's not there just do Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes). Once you are in the screen which shows your printers, right-click on your default printer and click Sharing. It is pretty self-explanatory on the settings needed here. Once the printer is shared, go to your laptop and again go go: Start > Printers and Faxes and go to Add Printer. During the dialog you want to select Network Printer and follow the dialogs. That's really it. I will post a link that will have more extensive information to help you.
