If I go on an upgrade to Firefox 3, will all my old bookmarks still remain? Someone told me on the phone that I would lose them. It did not sound right. So I thought I'd ask here & see what those of you who have upgraded to Firefox 3 can tell me about it.

I have upgraded to Firefox 3 with no bookmarks issue at all. Whoever told you they would be lost is incorrect.

When I upgraded all my bookmarks were still there. The only problem I experienced was that a couple of my add-ons weren't compatible with Version 3, although the main ones like Ad-Block Plus are.

I have not up graded to Firefox 3 yet but I have never lost my bookmarks when upgrading. If you are worried simply export your bookmarks and save them then import them back when you upgrade. (Organize Bookmarks/File/Export[Choose a place to save them and name]) Then go the same route only use import to add them back after upgrading.

Erm, well, I installed it when it came out and didn't have problems for a while. But about a week or so ago, strange things started happening with my bookmarks and then they all sort of disappeared. Now when I add new bookmarks, it just overwrites the old one and populates the bookmark toolbar with duplicates.
